Nepal government sets new rules for Everest climbers after deadly season

Mount Everest, the world's tallest summit, is certainly not easy for anyone looking to climb. There was a time when climbing Everest was like a dream for everyone, but now it is a money making pot for everyone. Now the crowd of Everest Riders or climbers is extremely appealing. Human traffic was also hit in Everest recently, which is a weird thing to hear and see. But now the crowd can certainly get reduce, because the government has changed the rules to reduce the crowds of people climbing the Everest. It was not long before the tourism company would also come under the rule of law. The Government of Nepal has also decided to increase the climbing fees.

Everest new rules made to climb



  1. According to the new rule those who climb the Everest must first prove that they have climbed another mountain.
  2. Tourism companies should also show that they have three years of experience in this subject.
  3. The Government of Nepal will only allow companies that have been guiding Everest climber for the last 3 years.
  4. The company will have to pay fee of US 35000, that means 4,11,000 Nepali Rupees. Additional charges can go up to 50,000 US.
  5. To climb the Everest now requires the official permit of the Government of Nepal.
  6. Before climbing the Everest, it will take of variety of tests, including Health test climbing skills and fitness test.
  7. The Everest permit will be valid only for those who have already climbed up to 21,300 feet.


There are many reasons behind the creation of all these new rules, losing people in the Everest, spending a lot on rescue, increasing garbage on Everest and human traffic.
